Reflections on the first part of this year

I’m thrilled by the remarkable journey our virtual assistant business has undertaken, marked by growth, recognition, and newfound success. Last year, I dedicated myself to refining our sales strategies, a decision that has propelled us to unprecedented heights. Our business is thriving, and seeing our clients flourish alongside us fills me with pride.

Being named finalist in the Australian Small Business Awards 2024 and receiving an anonymous nomination for Woman in Business 2024 are honours that I cherish deeply. They underscore our commitment to excellence and fuel our determination to continue excelling.

As we celebrate these achievements, we are reminded of the importance of taking a step back to recharge and reconnect with what truly matters. The relentless pursuit of success can sometimes overshadow the need for rest and rejuvenation. So, we are eagerly anticipating some well-deserved time off to unwind with loved ones, especially our family and children. After all, they are the driving force behind everything we do.

A new goal – Pursuing a personal endeavour

In addition to my business achievements, I’ve been pursuing another personal endeavour – training for a challenging running competition. Although I have not trained nearly enough for the competition I initially aimed for, the journey itself has been incredibly rewarding.

This particular competition requires participants to complete as many rounds as possible, with the end result being “did not qualify” if you signal you are done. The winner is the last man or woman standing. While I may not have made it to the competition, I’m immensely proud of the progress I’ve made with my running skills. I intend to continue my training with the same dedication and enthusiasm because, ultimately, I find joy and fulfilment in the process itself.
